THE 100TH, Seeds of Aloha

The feature-length documentary THE 100TH, Seeds of Aloha honors Hawaiʻi’s legendary 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team—Japanese American soldiers who fought extraordinary battles across Europe and became one of the most highly decorated units in U.S. military history.

But this is more than a war story. THE 100TH explores how these soldiers carried the spirit of aloha through war—and planted “seeds of aloha” through 80 years of service that followed. It is a story of courage, belonging and an enduring legacy that challenges us to carry aloha forward.
